Force 5 Finds its Soul, Re-launches Agency

South Bend, Ind. - Force 5, South Bend, Ind., announces a refined identity as it shifts its focus to complete brand development. The company changed its name by dropping "Media" from the end and launched a new website www.DiscoverForce5.com where visitors can learn more about the agency and its desire to help companies and organizations find their soul.

"At Force 5, we have a deep passion for helping companies find their soul—the central idea that explains who they are, what they do and why it is important. In doing so, we hope to build communities one brand at a time," said Deb DeFreeuw, Force 5 co-principal. "After some soul searching of our own, we discovered that we have a real passion for branding, or finding the essence of an organization and bringing it to light. We are excited now to partner with our clients to build brands and create communities for them, whether they build widgets or houses for the homeless."

Along with the changes, Force 5 introduces its new tagline "Left Brains. Right Brains. Brand Soul." DeFreeuw explained, "We bring together creative designers and analytical techies to unite form and function. We understand the importance of right and left brainers, and their roles in creating effective branding campaigns."

The process has taken a few years to complete, and, according to co-principal David Morgan, has hit at just the right time for the economy. "We have been building our internal team, getting the right people on board and taking the opportunity during the economic downturn to turn our resources inward and build the company into a powerful force. We are positioned to help those companies who need to do the same to re-capture their market share and grow their business as consumer confidence levels rise in this new economy."

As a major part of the shift towards brand development, DeFreeuw and Morgan underwent an intensive graduate school-level accreditation in brand development. Upon completion, they are the only agency in the area and one of only 30 in the entire nation to be certified brand strategists.

"In our industry, brand has become more recognized for its value and equity within a company. Large corporations have known this for years. Now many mid- and small-sized business are seeing the value in branding," explained Morgan. "We want to become strategic partners with our clients, forging long-term relationships as we help grow their business. So, we decided to formalize the skills we had, further develop our brand development process, and, at the same time, join a prestigious group of brand agencies and draw on their strengths."

Force 5 joined The Brand Establishment (www.brandestablishment.com) , an elite group of principals of brand development and branding firms dedicated to a contemporary view of brand development that is proven effective in growing businesses - unearthing their uniqueness - identifying a clear reason to do business with them.
